Integrated Template Builder
The superuser can create templates, and make them available to all users by tagging them.
Template building is completely integrated into the query builder. After logging in, the user can switch the query builder into a template-building mode in which extra input boxes are available for entering the template description etc. They can do this by clicking the button "Start building a template query" that appears below the output section for logged in users.
After clicking this button the user will see this tile:
- After making any changes the user must click Update settings to save the updates.
When in template building mode, constraints listed at the top-right gain an extra icon - a little padlock. The closed padlock means that the constraint is locked and not editable in a template query. Clicking the padlock brings up the template settings for that constraint. The form looks like this:
To save the template the user clicks Save template.
